Ebor Vale Riding for the Disabled has to raise all its own funds and we need to raise approximately £20,000 per year. We aim to keep our costs as low as possible in order to make our services accessible to as many people as we can.
Unfortunately we are not council or government funded and although we are a member group of National Riding for the Disabled Association who provide training and advice, they do not support us financially. Our group is run by a committee and volunteers. There are no salaried positions. All funds, large or small, both donated and raised go directly into the group for core funding, upkeep of the ponies, vets fees, hay bill, renewal of tack, new equipment etc.
We continually fundraise to keep the group up and running by organising raffles, tombola’s, bag packs, sponsored walks etc.
Please support us by donating to our Virgin Money Giving page – no donation is too small because it all adds up to make a massive difference. Thank you!
